I’m Jairus.
I’m a data scientist, builder, and lifelong learner trying to use technology thoughtfully—and to keep the most important things in view while doing it.
Professionally, I work where data, machine learning, and difficult real-world problems meet. I’m a Senior Data Scientist at Recursion and the founder of Just Data, where I build practical tools and explore ways that good analysis can lead to better decisions.
But work is only one part of a worthwhile life. My faith in Jesus Christ, my relationships, and the hope that our efforts can genuinely help other people shape how I understand success.
This site is where I think in public. Some pieces will be about data and technology. Others will be talks or reflections on faith, family, and the ordinary experiences that teach us. The connecting thread is simple: I want to understand what matters, do useful work, and leave a little more good behind.
